They were being dropped all over the place, and were only worth 30,000 GP each. Now look at them, going for millions!

For the more recent players though, there isn't going to be a chance to obtain a very valuable item anymore and be able to sell it a few years later. That's because Jagex have changed the way these holiday items are given out, and I don't think they'll carry the same value now as they have been made non-tradeable etc.

Go to Port Sarim, west of Draynor village, and ask one of the people in the blue uniforms to go to Karamja and pay them 30 runescape gp. When you get there, walk off the dock and you should see a house. Enter the house and talk to a man named Luthas. He will ask you to pick bananas. Answer “Yes”, pick bananas, put them in the crate, then talk to Luthas to collect your moderately earned 30 runescape gold. If you would like more money in multiples of 30, ask him to get another 30 runescape gold for doing the job again. Stay here for a long time if you need to spend several thousand on runescape items..
